A Dog Loves Cakes :: Full Story with Hindi Translation
Sheru, a dog, loves cakes.
शेरू नामक एक कुत्ता केक बहुत पसंद करता है।
Whenever his master gives him cakes, he gobbles them up.
जब भी उसका मालिक उसे केक देता है, तो वह उन्हें निगल जाता है।
One day his master gives him a big slice of cake.
एक दिन उसका मालिक उसे केक का एक बड़ा टुकड़ा देता है।
Why does he not eat it?

Mr. Sameer is an old man.
श्रीमान समीर एक बूढ़े आदमी हैं।
He lives in his cottage.

His dog Sheru is his best friend.

Mr. Sameer follows the same routine everyday.

He gets up late in the morning.

He has a wash and then he goes out for a walk.

He takes his dog Sheru with him.

At first he goes to the coffee shop at the corner.

He drinks a cup of coffee and eats a slice of fruit cake.

The cake is for two rupees.

Sheru sits under his chair.

Then Mr. Sameer crosses the road and buys a newspaper.

Sheru holds it softly between his teeth and carries it home.

The last month Mr. Sameer fell ill.

He was unable to leave his bed.

The doctor told him, "You have got the flu."

Now Mr. Sameer could not go out to get his daily newspaper.

He thought of a plan.

He gave a two rupee coin to Sheru.

Sheru went for the newspaper very fast and came back with it in his mouth.

After a week Mr. Sameer went out.

The newspaper man told him, "Your dog took seven newspapers and didn't bring any money."

Mr. Sameer was surprised.
श्रीमान समीर हैरान थे।
"What did Sheru do with those coins", he said to himself.
"शेरू ने उन सिक्कों का क्या किया", उसने खुद से कहा।
Next morning he gave Sheru a two- rupee coin.
अगली सुबह उसने शेरू को दो रुपये का सिक्का दिये।
The dog dashed out.
कुत्ता तेजी से दौड़ा।
His master followed him.
उसके मालिक ने उसका पीछा किया।
The dog went to the coffee shop.
कुत्ता कॉफी शॉप गया।
He put the coin on the counter and got a piece of fruit cake and gobbled it up.
उसने सिक्के को काउंटर पर रखा और फलों के केक का एक टुकड़ा मिला और उसे निगल गया।
"Naughty dog," said Mr. Sameer to himself.
"शरारती कुत्ता," श्री समीर ने खुद से कहा।
Sheru heard his master's voice.
शेरू ने अपने मालिक की आवाज सुनी।
He came to Mr. Sameer hung his head in shame.
वह श्री समीर के पास आया और शर्म से अपना सिर लटका दिया।
Mr. Sameer patted his dog Sheru and said, "Don't do this again."
श्रीमान समीर ने अपने कुत्ते शेरू की पीठ थपथपाई और कहा, "ऐसा दोबारा मत करो।"
Now Sheru does not even look at the coffee shop.
अब शेरू कॉफी शॉप की तरफ देखता भी नहीं है।
When his master goes there, he sits outside and wags his tail.
जब उसका मालिक वहां जाते हैं, तो वह बाहर बैठता है और अपनी पूंछ हिलाता है।
Mr. Sameer tells him, "You are the best dog in the world."
श्री समीर उसे कहते हैं, "तुम दुनिया के सबसे अच्छे कुत्ते हैं।"
Then he feel pride and joy. His face seems to glow.
तब वह गर्व और खुशी महसूस करता है। उसका चेहरा दमकने लगता है ।
